My name is Trisha and I am the face behind Simple Hearts. Authenticity & Inclusivity is SO important to me which is probably why I vibe so much with just being myself and capturing others' true selves at the same time! I am a sucker for inside jokes, personalized vows, coffee, and obviously anything outdoorsy.

I officially started this business 4 years ago, but have had a camera in hand for 9+ years. I've always been an artsy person, and have a healthy dose of F.O.M.O. which means I have a photo to go with most of my memories. Being able to capture memories in the same way for others has given me a level of fulfillment I never would have expected. Many ask me why I chose photography, but to be honest I think IT chose ME ;) When you reach out you won't get a fancy client guide, or a multi step program to click through. It will just be me on the other side of the computer doing a happy dance and chatting with you about capturing your life in a beautiful & authentic way.
A snapshot of who I am:
When I'm not working you'll probably find me with a coffee, a cat, or a book in my hands...or with hiking boots on my feet. I am an animal lover, a ex farm kid ( I can still recite the 4H Pledge like it's my life motto ) and am slowly working on a list of tattoo goals. I am married to my high school sweetheart, I am still terrified of thunderstorms despite my age, I hate driving but am always down for a roadtrip (Ironic, I know ). I'm a huge Lord of the Rings fan, but I couldn't tell you the first thing about Harry Potter. I listen to Americana, Bluegrass, and Indie/Alternative, eat peanut butter by the spoonful, and live for breezy fall days. I've always had a hard time talking about myself..even this description feels messy and awkward. But the one thing I do know is that authenticity always wins. So this is me. The face behind Simple Hearts..and I cannot wait to capture your true hearts soon.

Hi, I'm Abby! I was born and raised in Bethlehem, PA. I love everything to do with the outdoors, and when I'm not taking photos I am most likely hiking with my sweet rescue pup, Nash. I also love craft beer, trying new food, and traveling whenever I get the chance!
My photography journey officially started when my husband gifted me a camera prior to a big hiking trip so that I could document our adventures; ever since I have been photographing anything and everything! My favorite things to photograph are couples and grads! I absolutely love that I get to capture what makes your love and life story unique.
I am so excited to be joining Trisha for the upcoming season and look forward to meeting you!

FAQs
How soon will we receive our images after our session ?
All images will be delivered to your email inbox in an online gallery within 48 hours of all sessions, within 4 weeks of elopements, and within 6 weeks of micro weddings: unless specified as otherwise by the photographer during booking.

How many images will I receive in my gallery?
All images are treated and edited like they are final images to be placed in your gallery, that means there is no limit to the amount of images that you will receive , and there is no additional purchase necessary. On average an hour session will yield 100 images.

How does payment work?
Upon booking and signing of the contract, a nonrefundable booking deposit is collected. It is 20% of the full cost. The remainder is due 1 day prior to the session date at the latest.

What if I need to reschedule or Cancel?
I have reschedule dates available for all sessions, if the reschedule is due to something out of your control ( death in the family, illness, injury, weather etc, we reschedule to the next available date that works for both of our schedules. If you reschedule due to any other reason, a reschedule fee will be charged when choosing a different date. The nonrefundable retainer deposit paid upon booking is kept by the photographer in the event of a cancellation. Cancellations for sessions that have been paid in full will receive a refund on the remaining total (not including the retainer).
Hello! My name is Brittany, and I am one of Trisha’s assistant photographers. I began my photography career a few years back with one goal in mind, to capture the love between others and the candid moments that show the happiness our loved ones bring! Life gets busy and it is amazing when you can seize the moment and capture the pure emotions and memories your family will have for years to come!
Trisha and I have been friends since 2016. She began this business, and I couldn’t have been more proud of her! Since then, the business has grown, and the clients have been so pleased with her work that I now get to join her in the fun!
When you don’t see me behind the lens you will find me at your local antique shop or flea market discovering all the treasures someone had been collecting for years and finding a special place in my home for each item. Besides that, I can be found outside kayaking and hiking or at my local dog park making new doggo friends with my two boxers, Missy and Eugene.
